Telephony IP - VoIP

Telefonia IP The IP or voice over IP (VoIP) telephony is one of the last applications born in the data transmission technology field based on TCP/IP protocol.

The IP telephony uses the IP network to make travel, inside all the company, also the vocal traffic.

The convergence of video, voice and data communication services in a single network allows to reduce the costs, to simplify the installation and the support and to increase the integration degree of the remote branch offices in the company network infrastructure.

Omniabit and the IP - VoIP Telephony

  1. Reduction of global costs of the network infrastructure. With the implementation of a single integrated network (voice and data) for all offices the capital costs are reduced. Moreover, the sharing of the Ethernet wiring, by the telephones and PC, assures a reduction of wiring costs.

  2. Reduction of network administration costs, at short and long term, thanks to the use of a single net, to a single provider and to a common wiring, to the stipulation of a single maintenance contract, to the fees elimination and to the smaller complexity of the applications integration. The communication integrated nets are also better manageable and scalable.

  3. Simple migration route from the existing network to the IP telephony. The solution of IP Cisco System telephony has been studied to assure a lower risk migration strategy from the existing infrastructure. In this way the customer can migrate according the times and ways he prefers and adopt a scalable solution, that will always be able to satisfy the company needs of change.
