So as Internet has revolutionized the way of sharing information, the data
networks are transforming the modes of the video shooting in many

The IP (Internet Protocol) "native language" of Internet makes easier,
more flexible and economical efficacious the surveillance, the distance
control and the actions of intervention based on video images recorded

products that allow in an extremely simple way the video transmission and
management through the net, making the easy shooting, the transmission and
recording of video images in the digital format.
Product typology
The trend in the videosurveillance applications is
to use totally digital cameras, all-in-one, characterized
by a unique port of communication RJ45 (Ethernet), through which the data flow
and the control instructions are sent.
The most modern cameras allow then the distance control PTZ
(Pan-Tilt-Zoom, panning, electronic inclination/zoom), with a simple direct
connection to every local network (LAN).
These IP cameras are able of generating a video streaming in movement
(25 photogram per second) of high quality color images with VGA resolution
(640x480 not-interfaced, then double resolution as regards the television signal).
Application ambits
The application areas of that project are the most varied and infinite.
In fact with this system you can control them from a distance:
- High quality uniform images in movement of 25 photogram per second with an
exceptional resolution of 640x480 for a video control at total distance;
- Optical zoom 25x and digital zoom 300x to allow the visualization of all
necessary details;
- Day and night distance control: the cameras have a day/night function that
allows commutating the day/night mode in conditions of poor lighting to supply
more sensitive images;
- Recording of images on optional PC card or into the incorporated memory;
- Digital-digital elaboration: the proposed cameras avoid additional
conversions A/D and D/A and so give a superior image quality. For the most
cameras the elaboration is carried out from the exit of the analogical video
signal;
- the management software of the system allows the management and the
recording of the nine installed cameras, on 420 GB of HD with simultaneous
visualization on the server monitors, and in the specific case, will allocate
also the CLIENT version of visualization.
