Voice Tracking System

The flexibility of the system architecture is pointed out by its functional logic: the system starts working by the simple association microphone ID/camera position; moreover, this association is configurable by the user, by means of the software, supplied in the equipment kit. In this way, the final user can manage very easily and intuitively the situation that often take place in the real working environment: associate more microphones to only one camera position.
The system is also provided with the panoramic shooting area which starts up when no microphone is switched on (very likely either at the beginning or at the end of the conference) or when two or more microphones associated to different camera presets are switched on. The two cameras management version has at its disposal the "Split monitor" function: the images of two speakers who in that moment have activated the microphones connected to the conference system, are displayed on the screen simultaneously.
This function is based on the logic association microphone ID / camera ID; this association it makes possible to define the camera group to which the microphone in question is associated.
The system scalability gives as well the possibility to use up to four PTZ cameras. In this case, the set of the microphones is subdivided logically into the sub units which in their turn are associated to the one of the four cameras (microphone ID / camera ID and position): for example, if the discussion between two participants is taking place, it is possible to bring both of them to the foreground by means of two of the four cameras, and if necessary, it is possible to display on the screen them at the same time.
Using the guided wizard, installers can configure the VTS control unit with ease, thanks to the user friendly interface included in the VTS management software, as depicted in image on the right. The table reports compatibility of the different camera models controlled by this system, since three different versions of the VTS system are currently available as reported in the diagram.
